Chess Lover,
I would like you to join this intensive chess program for gifted kids in the New Jersey Children's Chess School. This program is by invitation only. Your official rating must be between 500-1500. During the classes students will develop strategy, tactics, their openings, play regular and quick rated chess tournaments. Each game will be analyzed. Some homework will be given every week. The camp is located on 862 De Graw Ave., Forest Hill (Newark), NJ 07104. Classes are held every Friday evening from 6:30pm to 9pm.
The 2007-2008 chess school year continues on Friday, January 4. The second trimester consists of 11 sessions: January 4, 11, 18, 25; February 1, 8, 15, 29; March 7, 14, and 28, 2008. The total cost will be $275 ($253 for second in family). Cost includes rated chess tournaments on February 1 and March 7. Group of gifted kids will be restricted to 15 students only.
The third trimester consists of 11 sessions: April 4, 11, 18; May 2, 9, 16, 23, 30; June 6, 13 and 20, 2008. The total cost will be $275 ($253 for second in family). Cost includes rated chess tournaments on April 4, May 2 and June 6. Group of gifted kids will be restricted to 15 students only.
The 2008-2009 chess school year will begin on Friday, September 12. The first trimester consists of 13 sessions: September 12, 19, 26; October 3, 10, 17, 24, 31; November 7, 14, 21; December 5 and 12, 2008. The total cost will be $338 ($312 for second in family). Cost includes rated chess tournaments on October 3, November 7 and December 5. Group of gifted kids will be restricted to 15 students only.
