Dear Chess Lover,
I would like you to join this intensive chess program for gifted kids in the New Jersey Children's Chess School. This program is by invitation only. Your official rating must be between 200-1800. During the classes students will develop strategy, tactics, their openings, play regular and quick rated chess tournaments. Each game will be analyzed. Some homework will be given every week. The school is located on 862 DeGraw Ave., Forest Hill, NJ, just a few blocks from famous "Cherry Blossomland" in Belleville. Classes are held every Friday evening from 6:30pm to 9pm.
The third trimester will begin on Friday, April 8 and consist of 11 sessions: April 8, 15, 29; May 6, 13, 20, 27; June 3, 10, 17 and 24, 2011. The total cost will be $308. Cost includes rated chess tournaments on May 6 and June 3. Group of gifted kids will be restricted to 12 students only.
The 2011-2012 chess school year will begin on Friday, September 16. The first trimester consists of 12 sessions: September 16, 23, 30; October 14, 21, 28, November 4, 11, 18; December 2, 9 and 16, 2011. The total cost will be $336. Cost includes rated chess tournaments on October 14, November 4 and December 2. Group of gifted kids will be restricted to 12 students only.
